Dear Mr. Scanniello,
I am writing to inform you about an extremely positive sales experience at EuroMotorcars Bethesda. I recently bought my Mercedes-benz, a Certified Pre-Owned E320 CDI, from King Lenoir, one of your pre-owned salesmen. King's professionalism and honesty have made him a pleasure to work with. I walked into the showroom late one night two weeks ago casually dressed in jeans and t-shirt. (EuroMotorcars was recommended by a coworker who bought a CLS 63 last year.) In spite of my youth and casual appearance, King was courteous and attentive, answering my questions thoroughly. He arranged for a test drive as soon as I asked. During the drive itself, he allowed me to test the car in silence, without interruptions, backseat driving or peppering me with information and questions. Our negotiations took no more than 15 minutes. While I drove a hard bargain, King was up front, honest and polite. (As a commodities trader, I always try to drive a hard bargain.) He called me back the nest morning to take a deposit and close the deal. I picked up the car last week, paying in cash.
While I did not ultimately sell either my Range Rover Sports or a BMW to EuroMotorcars, King has continued to be responsive. Your service department has also been professional, quickly answering my questions on accessories, scheduling a same-day service appointment when the oil indicator came on, providing a Mercedes loaner and being very polite but not overly familiar.
While you should receive courteous and efficient service when purchasing or servicing luxury cars, the reality is that most sales and service experiences are quite poor - and this from someone who has dealt with Land Rover, BMW, Jaguar and Infiniti dealers. I chose to go to Pre-Owned since this is my first Mercedes. When I buy additional cars and or replace this one, EuroMotorcars will be my first stop. I will continue to recommend your dealership to friends and colleagues interested in Mercedes-Benz and Bentleys. Congratulations on building an exceptional franchise.

Dear Mr. Scanniello,
I would like to thank you and your
staff for helping me and my husband
solve a major problem with the
purchase of our beautiful S430
Mercedes-Benz.The personal caring
of each department that was involved
made this decision very hard to
make; to repair our car or to
purchase another car.
For 2 1/2 months, Mr. Ken
Speckler in the Sales Department
never gave up on us. He was
very kind, compassionate, soft
spoken, very professional and tried
to make our purchase one that we
would be proud of.
Mr. David Souders, in the Service
Department, was very kind and
professional as well. Each
time that I spoke with him, he made
me feel that the decision to repair
my car was a good one and that he
would make sure it was done with the
utmost care.
I would also like to thank Mr.
Gil Hofheimer, the manager of Used
Cars, for making the sale of the car
possible. He too was kind and
very professional. The young
lady that processed our papers was
kind and pleasant as well.
Last, but not least, Mr. John
Stathes, the Tow Truck driver.
Each time he picked up our car, he
took pride in handling our car.
He was very professional and kind.
After teaching for 37 years in
Montgomery County, I have worked
with many students and I have tried
to teach them to be kind and
respectful to everyone, as well as
my 3 adult children. It makes
all the difference in anything you
do in life. I must say that I
felt like I was in good hands with
your dealership.
Thank you again and please share
this letter with the entire staff.
I hope my husband and I will enjoy
this car as we did our S420.
Keep up the good work. |

Dear Sir,
At the end of this year, I will have been a loyal EuroMotorcars customer for 24 years. I congratulate you on achieving the outstanding sales and service performance which enabled your company to achieve the great success that it has since it was a small firm on Elm Street while assuring the long term loyalty of your customers. I highly recommend EuroMotorcars as the dealership of choice to the motoring public. Please feel free to quote me on potential customers.
You achieved success by surrounding yourself with good people. When I visited EuroMotorcars to make a potential purchase, which I am again considering, or to have an automobile serviced, it is like visiting trusted old friends. I am greeted with warm smiles and firm handshakes by those whom I have known for a long time, such as Charlie Harmel, Mike Anderson, Brian Reilly, Jim McGovern and Peter Gregori, prior to others asking, “May I help you”?
As a result of previous correspondence with you, and your subsequent action, telephone calls are answered by someone, or, if a particular party is not immediately available, the call is referred to a live voice if one does not wish to leave a voicemail message. During business hours, customers now can always speak with someone at EuroMotorcars. That enables me to commend to you the names of Brian Hoffman, the service technician recently who performed work on one of my cars, under the supervision of service advisor, Mike Lang. I appreciate their work. Please advise them accordingly.
Your supervision of EuroMotorcars extends from the top to the bottom. Therefore, you and all your employees are deserving of recognition for the good work done. So, I would like to bring to your attention the service provided by a service porter whose first name is, I believe, Lemus, whom Mike Lang may further identify. Lemus deserves appropriate recognition for his contribution to EuroMotorcars.
